To insure the tranquility of an uncrowded stretch of river, we generally book no more than four (4) anglers each day. However, we sometimes make an exception to our rule of "only four anglers per day" if a group of 5 or more want to experience Fern Valley together. Contact us today for more information.
In the 1970s, we traveled this winding road in a bright yellow Volkswagen. We stopped at the Mark of the Potter to gawk at the waterfall and the big trout. Never in a million years could we imagine that we would one day live on this stretch of Hwy 197. We are blessed beyond our expectations because all we ever desired was a little trickle of water we could hear from a screened porch. This land once belonged to the Cherokee, and one day it will belong to another caretaker. In the meantime, we just try to be good stewards, showing a little hospitality at a place we think is pretty special.
